Good Morning,
🎒💙 A huge THANK YOU to Five Below – Airport Blvd and General Manager Lucas Gimlin for the generous donation of backpacks for our King Middle School students!
We are so grateful for our community partners who go above and beyond to support our Cougars. Your generosity helps our students feel prepared and sets them up for success. 🐾✨
📢 Families: If your student needs a new backpack, please have them see one of our school counselors—we’ll be happy to make sure they get one.

🐾 King Middle School PBIS Update 🐾
At King Middle, we love to encourage and celebrate our Cougars for following our R.O.A.R.S. Rules: Respect, On Task, Attitude, Responsibility, and Self-Control.
✨ Every Friday, we hold a special drawing where 5 students (one from each grade level) are chosen to sit in our new Cougar Café booths! Not only do they get this exclusive opportunity, but each winner can invite up to 5 friends to join them. The excitement on Fridays is contagious—our students love hearing those names called!
🍔 Join us tonight for our first PBIS Spirit Night at the Milton Sonic from 5–7 PM! Be on the lookout for more of these fun nights throughout the year. Funds raised through Spirit Nights go directly back into our PBIS program to help us continue celebrating our Cougars for their hard work.
🎉 And in just a few short days, we’ll be holding our first quarterly PBIS drawing! Students who have not received a referral this 9 weeks will be entered for a chance to win either a TV or a tablet.
We are so proud of our Cougars and cherish every opportunity to celebrate their success. 💙 If you’d like to support our PBIS efforts, please reach out to the school—we’d be happy to share ways you can get involved!

Congratulations to Silas Bowles on auditioning and MAKING the All State Band! Silas is the SoundWave’s first chair trumpet and we are proud to see him represent the SoundWave in Tampa at the All State Florida Music Educators Convention. Silas will have the opportunity to perform with a full symphony orchestra alongside other accomplished young musicians from around the state. We are proud of Silas and his accomplishments! Go SoundWave!

Our number one priority and goal in SRCDS is to ensure the safety of all students and staff, as well as protect instructional time so our students are able to focus on their learning and not have disruptions due to false threats. Congratulations to Gulf Breeze Elementary Music Teacher, Piper Singletary, who was awarded a $7,015 Gulf Breeze Will Do Grant for new instruments! Way to go, Mrs. Singletary! We can’t wait to see the impact this will make for the students at GBE.
